Nott’s responsibilities include planning planting and marketing crops, chemical decisions, as well as the drying and storage of the crops. He also has to maintain his equipment. Nott was recently the MS Rice Council president, a Delta Council outstanding rice producer, and elected to the Levee Board in 1994. Currently her serves on the Cleveland Chamber, Delta Council, MS Rice Council, US Rice Producers Association, and the Fist United Methodist Church in Cleveland.
