Hamlin officially breaks ground in Greenwood

A groundbreaking ceremony for Hamlin Sheet Metal Company, Inc., was held on November 18 in Greenwood, MS. The company’s newest facility will be located in the Greenwood-Leflore Industrial Park and is scheduled to open in March of 2004.

Hamlin will manufacture spiral ductwork in the 70,000 square foot facility to be built on approximately 11 acres in the Greenwood-Leflore Industrial Park. The company is investing $3 million in the facility, which will initially create 25 jobs. The number of jobs is expected to grow to 45 to 50 jobs over the next three years.
